New Training Provider Registration

The On-the-Job Training Programme (OJTP) aims to forge strategic alliances with private and public sector employers, creating job opportunities for young nationals. Private sector training providers are reimbursed 60% of the stipend paid to trainees. For public sector training providers and NGOs, trainees’ stipends are covered in full by the OJT Programme.

1. COMPLETE THE ‘EMPLOYER REGISTRATION & REQUEST’ FORM
This form is used for applying to become a Training Provider with the On-the-Job Training Programme. Via this form, basic organisational information such as its name, contact information and type of business will be captured. The form also notes details of the On-the-Job Trainees being requested (job titles, educational requirements and number of trainees requested) and is used for current providers to request new trainees.

2. SUBMIT THE COMPLETED FORM & JOB DESCRIPTIONS TO YOUR PMO II
These documents can be scanned and submitted via email to the Placement and Marketing Officer II (PMO II) for the region or dropped into one of the OJTP’s satellite offices at Ministry of Labour and Small Enterprise Development sub-offices.

3. FACILITATE SITE VISITS
The OJTP will conduct a due diligence site visit to view your office, including where you will host the requested trainees. Private sector training providers must produce original registration documents so that copies can be certified (includes certificate of incorporation, NIB, BIR and VAT registration and where applicable organisational chart, vision & mission statements and policy manual). Private sector providers will subsequently be visited by an OSHA officer who will perform an inspection and give notice of any areas of nonconformance that must be rectified before OSHA approval.

Final recommendation and approval rest with the Director of the OJTP.
